Spin CAT - Cell Alignment Tool The Spin CAT tool is used to align cells in standard 4- or 8-hole rotors used with the Beckman XL-A/XL-I analytical ultracentrifuge. The tool replaces the align by eye method of aligning cells and is guaranteed to align the cell to < 0.1 degree when used with Spin Analytical cell housings. The Spin CAT is aligned at the factory for use with Spin Analytical's cell housings but a tool and instructions are included so the user can adjust the alignment for use with standard cell housings. AUC Single Cell Washer The single cell washer is a tool for cleaning AUC cells without disassembly. In addition to saving a tremendous amount of time, this device alows users to quickly clean and refill a cell with high confidence that the cell will not leak. Also, it gives users the ability to recover and clean one channel while leaving the sample in the other channel. To use simply remove the fill hole screw, recover your sample, screw adaptor into cell fill hole and place cell onto the cell washer. The user selects the wash time, connects the solvent tank to the quick connect coupling on the side of the washer and then presses the start button. When the wash cycle is complete the user can connect a different solvent tank and repeat the wash cycle or select the drying function. The cell washer has a built in air pump for drying the cells.

AUC Multi-cell Washer Similar to the single cell washer this device allows the user to clean up to four cells without disassembly. The multi-cell washer is a fully automated device that uses a microprocessor to control the wash and dry cycles. There are locatoins for four cells and four solvent tanks. The computer determines if a cell is present and automatically washes with the filled solvent tanks. Like the single cell washer, the multi-cell washer has a built in drying pump. The multi-cell washer requires no intervention to complete the wash/dry cycle.

Cell Washing Supplies We offer a line of cell washing fluids compatible with both the single and multi-cell cell washers. The solvents are delivered in bottles that can be interchanged with the bottles delivered with the cell washers. Repeat customers receive a 50% discount on cell washing fluids if they return bottles for refilling.
